The record regarding Job is not just a little part of a dead, ancient history; it is a true history presenting the life of a character, not allegorical, nor from stories, but only too real. Because apostle Paul does not mention the name of Job at chapter 11 from the book Hebrews, where he is talking about the facts of the faithful men of old, this not means that Job didn’t exist. He wasn’t an Israelite an for this reason, his name wasn’t mentioned in the description of that „cloud of witnesses” which, "through faith... wrought righteousness, obtained promises…from weakness became strong."

What once sounded fantastic now appears a grim possibility. The people viewed the Scriptural warning of an end to this world thus in 1945 after the second atomic bomb burst over Japan. The appalling loss of property and life caused deep concern to earth's inhabitants as man had at last stumbled on something he might not be able to control and so the end of the human race might result. This is but one of many develop-ments from A.D. 1914 onward which have caused sincere, God-fearing people to wonder if we are not living in the "last days" before the destruction of this world. For proof it will be necessary to turn to God's Word and there search the prophecies relating to such a time and see if events of the day fit them.

Despite all the promises and complaints of men, God will do it his way. Do what? Bring in a righteous new world, a world of enduring peace, a world without worry, pain or death.

"A NEW earth!" What can it mean? The burning up of our present planet, and its replacement by a new globe? No, not that; for the sure Word of God declares: "The earth abideth for ever." (Ecclesiastes 1:4; Psalms 78:69; 119:90) But that there will be a new earth is made certain by the Creator's own promise: "Behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind." (Isaiah 65:17) If, then, not a new earthly sphere, what is the "new earth"? What conditions will prevail in it, and how and when will it come into existence? Doubtless questions like those fill your mind, as you consider the prospect of a new earth.

In this upside-down, unhappy world it seems to be the general course to take the good things for granted, to drift along the line of least resistance and only when unfortunate circumstances arise, to seek relief by resorting to prayer. Then, if the prayers are not at once answered, the feeling arises that the Lord God has fallen down on the job. Prayers for health, peace and prosperity go unanswered, even when addressed in sincerity to a god believed to be the Almighty. This ought to cause thinking persons to pause and give serious thought to this important matter. Seeking the right way, they ought to ask: How should we pray? To whom should prayer be addressed? Are here any special requirements for imperfect men to reach the Almighty? Indeed, why pray at all?

We must shun the false guides of men and their false religions, babbling psychologists, wordy psychiatrists and polluted politicians, all of which have built up such tremendous reputations as colossal failures. Know God as a guide by his fruits, and accept him because of those fruits. Would you like to be guided as surely as the birds are guided in their migrations? Then make their Guide your Guide. Would you like to be guided into the new world as surely as the stars are guided in their orbits? Then make their Guide your Guide.

One of the vital doctrines clearly taught throughout the Bible is that of the ransom which God provided through Jesus Christ for men who love God and have faith in him.

AT THE mention of Armageddon and the fact that we are living in the last days of this present system of things, many will rise up to scoff and say that that is the most impractical part of the entire Bible, to believe that God is going to fight a battle of Armageddon to destroy the wicked and usher in a perfect kingdom that will transform earth into a global paradise. Highly impractical and unreasonable, they say, is the declared message that we are living in the last days.

February 14, or Valentine’s Day is coming soon. And with it there come all the other stuffs specific to all holidays so-called „christian”. Besides, we can see the coming of this holiday in the multitude of the little hearts which have appeared for sale, like little pillows, mugs, candles, postcards, flowers, gifts of different sorts, etc. Is this celebration truly agreeable to God and does He really request it? Does this holiday bring us closer to God and the spirit of truth or it lead us towards the ruined world's spirit, in passions, vices, idolatry, riot and other features of the darkness?
